My favorite subject

Mmm…Which could be my favorite subject?
I think that is not a difficult question, because we have few subject and some of them are: chemistry, I like but not to much, because it´s too difficult; maths I don´t really like it; english,
orientation to the veterinary medicine and animal diversity I like it!

Animal diversity also called zoology it is my favorite subject, because in this subject we see all animals from most little invertebrates to mammals. We see all their features: internal and external morphology, and many other things. Also we not only have theoretical lessons, but we also have labs on Friday afternoon and we can explore and experiment what we seen in class. There we had opened mollusks, fish, echinoderms, etcetera.

In summary I like zoology, first because it is the subject where we have more contact with animals, actually we can touch them and it is easier to learn and second I feel like a real student
of veterinary.

The person that I admire

I don´t admire any famous person related with the career. But I admire my mom.
She started to study veterinary in Austral University, being so far from her home in Quillota and and connectivity in those years was not like today.

Few years later she moved from Valdivia to Santiago to finish the career in University of Chile.  Patiently she had to take courses from first year, because they University didn`t past off all subject, so she had to study more years than she ought.

After she graduated in 1992 she did some masters about horses and also she did some course to be a teacher of horsemanship.

I admire her not necessarily because she is my mom, but I admire her because she is a very courageous, passionate, feisty, patient woman, but above all she loves what she does and she doesn´t do it just for money.
